Be wary of Internet prescription drug sites | NewsChief.com | News Chief | Winter Haven, FL

Be wary of Internet prescription drug sites | NewsChief.com | News Chief | Winter Haven, FL: "It has been said that anything can be bought over the Internet. The Internet has truly changed the way people not only shop in the United States but how they work and live. The Internet has made it possible to compare prices without even leaving your home. Unfortunately, not everything sold on the Internet is what it seems to be.

Anyone who is even considering buying medications over the Internet should re-consider the simple fact that Web sites that sell medications may not be U.S.-or state-licensed pharmacies. In fact, some are not pharmacies at all."

Asia Times Online :: China News, China Business News, Taiwan and Hong Kong News and Business.: "Asian airlines are waiting anxiously for the other shoe to drop in a price-fixing scandal whose widening global net has cast a pall over the US$50 billion air-cargo business. Much of Cargo Industry Under Investigation for Anti-Competitive Behavior

Should We Trust Antitrust Laws?

"Because the questions of antitrust are still very much with us, there is always need for a good book to remind us how much harm antitrust actions can do. Unfortunately, 'The Abolition of Antitrust' (Transaction, 176 pages, $39.95) is not that book. A collection of essays on the economics, legal history, and morality of antitrust, its essayists quote liberally and lovingly from Ayn Rand. Unsurprisingly, their take on antitrust laws is that they should not exist. More surprisingly, they fail to make even a superficially convincing case for this view."
